You Learn Something New Everyday...No Matter How Hard You Try Not To

I cut myself with a butter knife. Not lying. Which leads me to the conclusion that had it not been a butter knife, I would probably have only nine fingers now.

Also on my list of brilliant achievements recently, I turned on the crock-pot before class just like Maggie asked. But I did not plug it in. (Two hours pass) I notice it's not hot, and that it's not plugged in, but the plug doesn't reach the wall...and even if it did, there were already two plugs there: the extension cord and the computer. As I was using the computer, I unplugged the extension cord. So, being the smart person I am, I then unplug the fan from the extension cord and plug in the crock pot to it. For those of you keeping score at home, the extension cord is no longer plugged in. Ten minutes later, I realize this and correct my mistake. So now, the food is cooking, although slowly...after-all, it is a crock pot. By the way, don't tell Maggie. She's at work and doesn't know yet. I'm hoping the food will be cooked enough by the time she gets home. It's the perfect crime!

Haha, that's hilarious. How did you manage to cut yourself with a butter knife? I didn't think that was physically possible.

oh my gosh, you are such a mess. Crock pots have different temperature settings, right? You could turn it up a little.
