Life Update!!!!
So I figured I owed anyone that still checks this an update. It's gonna be relatively short.
First, work is fantastic. I'm at Quarles & Brady, an awesome firm in Milwaukee. There's not too much to say about it except that I like the work and the people are great.
Second, apparently my chronic heartburn caught up to me. It did some major damage to my esophagus, so I'm having to have an endoscopy to check it out next week. I couldn't eat much anything for three days and I still get nauseated when I talk, but it's getting better. It's not as bad as it sounds, really. At this point it's primarily annoying. I haven't been able to take advantage of all the free lunches at work!
So my parents just completed their visit. It was great to see them, but unfortunately I got sick before their visit concluded, so that put kinda a damper on things. Still, before my esophagus ate itself we managed to take in all of Milwaukee, including polish fest! Opa!! It was crazy fun. I don't think we could have fit more into those few days if we'd wanted to. I think we all slept like rocks when we got home. I'm still sad that they had to leave bc I know we won't see them again until Christmas, but Ryan and Tim are planning to visit us in October or November, so we'll still have visitors. And to be honest, as fast as time is flying these days, it'll be Christmas before I know it.
Finally, married life is great. Me and Mags are still getting along most of the time, and I've found that "Yes, dear" really does fix most problems. Thanks, Buddy and Bruce. I'll be certain to get y'all great Christmas presents. Wait..wait...Maggie said no. "Yes, dear." (sorry guys).
And, though other things may be going on (like the 40th Annual Summerfest!!!), I'm not really feeling very bloggy tonight, just bloggy enough to post. I'll try and get back sometime soon.

spenYikes, I'm sorry about your esophagus, that really sucks. I hope the surgery goes well. It's great that work is going well, and that you got to see your family. I really miss mine too, but I got to see them last weekend in Cooperstown.
Yay for new post.
Boo for esophagus problems.
Jen can't say esophagus. Or at least she couldn't when we were in high school...I haven't tested her recently.
