Good Times
So, since Maggie was posting pictures, I figured I'd make a list of some of the best memories I have of SHC. I think everybody else should do it too, cuz it'd be fun. And I'm bound to forget lots of them, but I'll try.
1. Shooting water balloons with a giant sling-shot off of my apartment balcony with Mike at Wattam, who was standing on the golf course in heavy fog.
2. Mario Kart. Seriously. Hundreths of a second! We had a dry erase board. We're cool.
3. The Adventures of the Dragon Slayer of the North, and Part Deux.
4. When I followed Caitlin back to her room from logic to show her Christian Rap. Do not, tell me what I can and cannot do when I rock!
5. Midnight basketball with Mike, Mags, Caitlin, and everyone else that made cameos that week.
6. Climbing into Walsh via the second-floor balcony.
7. Trying to beat Finger and Hoffman with palm branches that I found in the garbage can of Toolen on my 19th Birthday.
8. Going out to the Dauphin Island beach one night with Mike (and others, but I am seriously clueless now) in between finals and graduation freshman year.
9. Taking I/O psych from MacAleese w/ Kevin, J-lu, Schmidty, and Co. That was one awesome, fifteen-minute class.
10. Sneaking into the Church late at night with Sarah and Mags and climbing out to the roof.
11. Playing dodgeball with Mags, Brian, Sarah, and others in the racquetball court, but only before I nailed my fiancee in the face. My bad.
12. Stripers ball, senior year. Woot.
13. The conversation we had about killing all the fish and somehow Maggie ended up killing me instead? I'm not really sure about that one. I think it had something to do with being rational.
14. Catholic Youth Conference 2002, up in the sound booth with all the guys. Filming the movie with the duck and the gun.
15. My star role in Mike's play. Ding!
16. Finding the decoy (with the dried deer hide still attached) while doing the Circle K river clean-up.
17. Paddle baseball in the river.
18. Rapping "O Holy Night" with Mike and Big RoRo. (We were so much better than you girls, and you know it.)
19. Murder Mystery 1. The second was fun, but the first meant I was in.
20. Volenis. The greatest game ever invented.
21. Walking into my pitch-black apartment after work one day, and seeing the TV on with Wattam in camoflage and a headset playing some Playstation game.
22. Every leisurely walk I got to take with Mags.
23. Weekday afternoons, playing holes 14-15 into twilight.
24. Changing Mags' flat tire on the way back from the beach--little did I know it was but my first encounter with those damn tire trolls.
25. Having the bread fight outside of Mags' and Sarah's room in O'Leary.
26. Having the power go out in Viragh during an Auburn game, sprinting to O'Leary, finding Mags there with the door open.
27. Watching the Auburn/Vandy game in Caitlin's room sophomore year bc Mike's a sleep-face.
28. Late night saki with Rob and the rest of the APT. That stuff was gross. And I think the cup sparked.
29. Kidnapping the Sigma Chi rooster freshman year. Man, that was a long night.
30. Walking with Mags around campus late at night, through the admissions hallway, down by the Sodality Chapel, etc. (Technically I repeated this, but there were lots of walks.)
